So I set up my own page on Facebook for user's to follow our news and information and when it came time to set up a username for a shorter URL, I had a hard time finding out where/how to go about doing that. I don't know why they can't just make it a link or even have some info on it right on your own page for you to see, but they don't... so after some searching, I finally discovered it:

http://www.facebook.com/username

You visit this url and everything you have including your own account, your pages, apps and more will all be listed, ready for you to choose a username. This makes it much easier for yourself and for friends/customers to find you.
