Apparently, there is still the 'Total Ignore' Greasemonkey script for firefox (although, I haven't tried it yet).

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/26567

Unfortunately, it requires the Greasemonkey plugin already installed to work, and it doesn't seem to be as good as this ffvb plugin used to be, but it's probably worth looking into for the rest of you.

Also here are some other vBulletin board greasemonkey scripts in addition to that one: http://userscripts.org/tags/vbulletin?page=1

Darn, I decided to check and see if there was an update for the new Firefox yet but alas, I see there isn't and there will not be one in the future. I really hope someone figures something out.

Just did a new install of Windows 7 today. Installed the latest Firefox and came looking for this plugin.

Now I'm gonna cry. :(

I have the same problem. Fortunately, I post on more than one computer. All my Macs still have the Ffvb, but I can't go back with my Windows systems.

I hope someone who knows programming takes up the challenge. Between tedious threads and tedious posters, there's a whole lot of use for this addon.

I do hope someone takes over this project. It's saved my sanity and many breakable things on certain forums.

Absolutely. If anyone else would like to take it over, I have already made the files available in Google's code base.

They can be downloaded here: http://code.google.com/p/ffvb/
