TyCam Technologies was born late in 2007 by web developer Stuart Duncan when he decided to begin dabbling in the development of Firefox extensions. Being a member of several message boards, he saw a strong desire from members to have ignored user's threads disappear as well as their posts. vBulletin, being the most common forum on the internet, had inadequate ignore features which left most users wanting more.

This is what prompted work on the very first feature of the very first Firefox extention for TyCam Technologies. From there, user feedback has helped the FfvB extension grow as well as lead to other extensions.

TyCam is an abbreviation/amalgamation of Stuart's two son's names, Tyler and Cameron.  Based out of Ontario Canada, the company's precense is world wide as it operates solely on the internet in an effort to provide exceptional web development to clients.
